Shuttering. hmm. Do you mean stuttering, which to me would mean an audible sound, kind of machine gun-like, would make me think of a burned valve. Easily detectable with a compression test. So if it's an audible rat-a-tat tat, do a compression test.
If it is a shaking, and you did mention vibration, then I would suspect suspension, especially since it's speed related. Increased torque at the wheels may be twisting a mount or bushing that's worn, creating a mal-alignment problem. Asymmetric torque, typical of FWD layouts, could twist just about anything. Steering rack bushings, tie rod end bushings, suspension bushings. Probably not an engine mount issue. If it has been going on for a few months, look at your tire wear pattern.
