Hello,
Sounds like the passenger side inner driver. Very noticible vibration under heavy acceleration that is not present under coast. Your car has a long intermediate shaft that has the driver cup cast into the end. The tripod bearing sits in there. Look at the large end of the boot and see if it throwing rust colored grease out or looks to have thrown its grease out long ago. There was a bulletin in 99 for improper location of the pinch portion on the boot clamp allowing grease to escape. Experience says most of them throw grease out there weather the clamp is in the correct place or not. I repack mine every year and recommend the same to my customers. If this is what has happened to yours you will need an intermediate shaft and new tripod bearing. Good Luck, Bernie
