I have a 2000 9-3 base with manual transmission. The gear shift has not been in proper adjustment since clutch was replaced by indie mechanic, but I could shift into 5th by lifting the reverse tab. Now I can't get into 5th or reverse even with using the reverse tab. I want to check transmission fluid before seeking repairs. The manual shows a dipstick, but I can't locate one and the manual isn't clear if its for manual or automatic. Thanks for any advice.
