I recommend a transmission fluid change. If you do it yourself you will need an 8mm Allen wrench. You will need to cut about 1/4 inch off the short end so the wrench will fit between the drain plug and the sub frame. A dremel tool with a cut off wheel works well. You will need to remove the left front tire and wheel to do this work and block the car up. To get the level check plug out I use an 8mm Allen wrench on the end of two 3/8 drive 6 inch extensions and put a short section of pipe on the wrench handle. The plug is hard to break loose but then treads out easily. The top plug you will remove to fill may require the 8mm Allen or may be a hex nut. Once you have drained the fluid clean the metal residue from the drain plug magnet and replace the plug. It will take about two liters of fluid. When you see fluid coming out of the fill level plug, the middle plug, stop filling and install the middle and top plug. Job is now done for another 50 to 100 thousand miles.
