It's tough to guess based on hopes that things have been diagnosed properly.
It's important to make sure both low and high speed kicks in on cooling fan to confirm the resistor is good on fan shroud.
Simply done by bypassing the two relays.
It is also important to make sure the coolant thermostat opens and allows hot coolant to flow pass the temp sensor and through radiator.
Haven't had a case where the "computer" stops sending signals all by itself but it is usually one of several input signal that is missing and the "computer" does not have all the info needed to activate things.
