Sorry for the blank post. happy trigger finger. yes, it is do-able with a set of hand tools. Take off the lower dash panel, unhook the cable from the inside. disconnect outside. replace first from outside, feed through firewall and rehook on to clutch pedal. pretty easy.
Take the aux electric panel loose in the engine bay to see what you are doing. the lower dash panel comes off with torx head screws. The saab clips are released by pushing in the middle really hard till they pop then pull on the OD of the plastic clip to remove it from the hole.
