I have a '94 900SET with 82k on it. She's been a great car since 45k when i got her. things to check for: (most of these things apply to all NG900's)

Clutch pedal action- if it's really stiff, could require a new cable. same is true for gas pedal (much less common)

SID- the little computer above the radio- make sure all pixels light up. people tend to lose them in rows. doesn't affect function, just annoying and expensive to replace.

Check headlight wiper motor operation- extremely expensive to replace (for what they are)

make sure car idles fine and seems to accelerate fine. try to drive it on a couple of occasions. Direct Ignition cartriges have failed (mine did)

I love my 94, but i'd have to recommend looking at a '95 and up if for no other reason than for the keyless entery and console mounted power door lock button (and DRL's if you like them). some '94s were a bit buggy, as is often true with the first model year of a majorly changed car. make sure all recalls were taken care of. and i used carfax.com for a title search before i bought mine. good luck! these are great cars!
