While trying to start the car I found the motor died after turning over. At first I thought it was the automatic engine cut-off, but after engaging the alarm (with no success in solving the problem) I found that if I held the key slightly to the right instead of releasing it completely the engine would continue to run and the car would operate as usual. As soon as I released the key completely, however, the engine dies. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the answer to replace the key mechanism?
