Everything is a compromise, if you want power at top you're going to have some lag. the t25/28 is easy since all the stock plumbing fits. If you look at what tuners on other makes are doing a turbo setup for a 2.0L motor would have a t3 or even a t3/4. that's a different flange than the t25 so it won't fit a stock manifold. Abbott came up with a compromise that fit the manifold and is larger than a t25/28 - we'll see if it's the right direction
