That is a great story. I've been looking for this solution for 3-4 yrs now. My 94 900s does the same thing. In the past I had tried many techniques to try to isolate the problem... coasting in neutral, having someone else try to listen for the location. I've tried to shore up the molding around the windshield, I've looked for loose plastic in the wheel wells, but never tried the mud flaps... had suspicions, but the sound seemed like it came more from the front. I was begining to think it's time to sell this thing, but maybe this will renw my affection
Can't wait til tomorrow to try it. Is their a recommended napkin for the procedure, or will standard weight do?
Thanks for the story
