Sunvisor, mother-in-law, possible homicide indictment

Help.
For the SECOND TIME, my mother-in-law has snapped the arm of the sun visor while riding in my car (despite the gentle lecture after the first time about how you shouldn't try to move it in multiple directions at once). This is the third visor in the car, as my partner did the same thing once before. When she looked at me with the visor in her hand and said "I can't believe it, this just broke again", as if I wasn't in the car and hadn't just witnessed her yank on the thing, I wanted to pull over and beat her to death with it.
I'm generally a very nice guy, but this is just too much. If I have to buy a fifth visor I'm going to kill someone (maybe the SAAB engineer who suggested saving $0.65 per unit my using plastic instead of metal). Is there any aftermarket sunvisor with a more hearty mount? At this point, I'm willing to pay almost anything. Absent that, is there anyone out there with good engineering skills who could offer some suggestion(s) on how to fortify the stock plastic mount? Due to the aforementioned probablility that this will be my mental undoing, I appreciate any help you can give me!
