I have over 125000 miles on the orignal front pads. If your brakes are not feeling right, the rear units cound be siezing up. Often it is just the rear pad backing plates getting stuck in the caliper slots. Remove, clean out rust and dirt, grease contact edges. That can help alot.
Your shocks could be going. But if your complaint is about steering and lane change stability the front suspension may be at fault. This can be expensive to fix up with oem or performance parts.
Not all upper strut bearing/bushings fail on the 94->07 ng900's.
95SET, orignal front pads and rotors, orignal shock steering fixed with Viggen rescue kit from Abbott America, 125000 miles
