Dean,
I am looking at putting the Viggen rescue kit (or parts there of) on my 1998 900SET. This car is an automatic, a daily driver, and on 205/55-16 touring tires (probably Yoko AVS dB this fall). Mainly I want sharper turn-in and more positive steering. I will be upgrading to Koni sport adjustable struts/shocks at the same time as well as a 18mm rear sway bar. I plan to add performance ECU, saab sport exhaust, and a motorsport BPV as the next step.
I definitely want the polyurethane tracking control arm bushings and the steering rack clamp. I am a bit hesitant about the Support Arm Bearing Kit adding too much harshness to the ride, and the Stainless Steel Subframe Brace just not being necessary.
As you have the Viggen rescue kit, what are your feelings about handling verses transmitted road harshness? Also is the whole kit better than the sum of the parts? It maybe than I can get the whole Viggen rescue kit for less than the individual parts, but I am looking for as much insight as I can get.
Thanks in advance.
