Hi Dean.
I have a 1999 Viggen with the rescue kit (plus sports exhaust) and a 1996 900 SE Turbo with Koni shock/springs, polymer bushers, steering rack brace and sports exhaust.
Both have setups have improved the cars no end.
The Viggen is now a much better drive (torque steer no longer tries to stuff me into the nearest ditch!) Ride is still outstanding. A recent 7 hour drive across France a testiment to how good it is (my wife suffers with back problems but didnt complain once the whole journey - there and back!!)
The 900 is also a very good drive. Over all driving is very crisp and sharp (maybe even slightly better then the Viggen as I havent got the Konis on the Viggen yet) As you fear, I'm not sure the sub frame brace is needed on the 900 as it doesnt suffer from the Viggens torque steer problems.
Hope this helps.
P.S. All work done by Abbott
Cheers
Wayne
