ok, i have been doing searches and reading for a few days now..i ordered the Dawes MBC and am anxiously awaiting its arrival :)
couple of questions
1) i have heard mixed things on whether or not this will "fit" right out of the box...do i need adapters between the size of the dawes barbs and the saab ones?? any aditional equipment???
2) there are a couple of different installations mentioned in the instructions...the "third" picture, i believe is showing a "T" that has a line going back to the turbo...
what does this do? is this necessary? or should i stick with the standard method of interupting the compressor to wastegate line?
3) i have read that electronic devices keep the wastegate COMPLETELY closed untill max boost is reached...is this the case with a manual device?
4) i have read up to a 20% improvement in HP.... i think that might be a little high :) any real guesses on HP gains?? i am hoping that it will be more noticable than the 10hp gain of the exhaust, intake, etc...
5) is it completely necessary to use the best gas possible???
i typically used 93 octane..but dont want to be married to it, if it gets too expensive...
6) i know this has been talked about..but everything is gone in the archives.. i understand that disabling the SAAB apc system takes away one of the safety features of reducing boost... are there other safety features that do the same thing??
ok...i think thats all... thanks
honest, i did try to research all these prior to asking :)
