I fixed mine by spraying a little penetrating-type oil through the clutch inspection port onto the area of the TO bearing. I'm guessing it cleared the shaft splines of some kind of crud. It's also very temporary. The shot of WD-40 lasted about 500 miles, and this weekend I used something industrial in a large nondescript spray can that loosened the action to the point where it felt like the cable had broken, it was so easy to work. Way easier than even the hydraulics, it was magic. I don't expect it to last, though.
They specify moly grease for the shaft splines, which seems to explain why people get a less stiff clutch after a clutch job but it comes back. I guess one could poke around and grease it partially through the port, but I don't think anything's going to last a long time in there...anyone know of a type/kind of grease for this purpose?
