well, just i got the dawes in the mail today..put it in per the directions on this board...
after dialing it in, i think im set...
definately more power, although i wouldnt say its a completely "reformed" car...and i dont see a huge improvement in turbo lag...
the real difference is that as soon as it hits the red, there is a big kick in the pants!!
i hit the fuel cut off which scared me a bit...and then i backed off about a full turn...
--how much should you back off while still avoiding spikes??
--the factory line fits VERY loose on the dawes..how did you fix this? i dont think it will come off with the zip tie...but i can rotate it pretty easy..(actually made adjusting easy)
1st gear is actually kinda scarey now..if you floor it, you will hit redline in about 1 second!!! 2nd gear is better...but still be carefull...i was going up a windy steep hill in 2nd..stepped on it..and go them screachin...woah.
im still a little nervous about the safety of this...only because im still learning the ins and outs of the car...and i dont fully understand everything yet.
