Nix the radiator, add tranny leaks, and that sounds similar to the NG's list. My car has seen about $7k in maint. and repairs in the last 2.5 yrs. I'm somewhat anal about wanting all the little things to be right, but it still seems high to me. it seems that every little part runs about $350.
I live in central PA and really only needed the snows a half dozen times last year. A coworker has a '97 328is and reports that the combo of snows and ASC+T is sufficient for getting around. I would assume the same to be true of an M3. I'll bet that your '95 w/o ASC was/would be a handful in the slippery stuff.
Still, it's hard to beat the combination of the Saab's space, performance and low purchase price. Good luck!
