Leaky radiator, time for replacement?

My wife's 95 900S convertable started to develop a coolant leak over the last month or so. Yesterday I looked more closely in the engine bay and found that the leak is coming from under the radiator. The hoses (top and bottom) are dry where they hook into the raditor and the water pump area is dry as a bone, also the the belts and pulleys are dry. It doesn't look to hard to replace.
Can these things be fixed by a radiator shop or is it best to just put in a new one? If a new one is in order are there any tips or things to look out for during the replacement process.
The removal/replacement seems pretty well laid out in the Haynes book. Any input would be welcomed. Thanks.
