and rotor on the car?
If its been 20 to 30k miles, you may want to consider changing them. Also change the plugs while you are at it.
Use some lubro Molly fuel injector cleaner in every other gas tank for two or three times.
Did you get a check engine light? IF no then its not secondary air related or electrical sensor related (i.e o2 sensor, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, crank sensor, air flow sensor, or fuel pressure regulator.) But it is a possibility that it can be one of these. But I doubt it.
Also look into changing your fuel filter.
There is a product out there called Stabilant 22. What this does it it makes electrical connections using a connector conduct like they are soldered. You can get a 15 ml bottle of that and after cleaning all your electrical connections with electrical motor cleaner or something similar. Wait until the clean connectors dry and apply only one drop to each electrical connection on each connectors. This will help greatly.
Mind you this product is very expensive, but it WORKS! There is other products like D5 from Caig with is much inferior, but does work (not as ling). You can get stabilant from NAPA i think.
Paul.
