How do I disable daytime running lights?

Greets to all the other Saab owners! I would like to be able to switch off the headlights every once in a while and still listen to the stereo. In the car's manual it says that the dealer can disable the daytime lights for me, but I would prefer to find out how to do it myself. I would really like to be able to put a switch on them (as they should have come from the factory in my opinion.) Anyway, does anybody know the way that the dealer would disable them? I would prefer to know the "official" way that they use. Thanks for all the insight.
