Err Steve is right, the DRL were disabled on my 97 900 SETC, I 'enabled' them again by pulling a fuse in slot 15. That's all, no computer reprogramming required for me ! (i did this last week)
Also if you want to listen to your stereo, switch ignition to on, then back to off. You can now switch back on the stereo for 1 hour without the headlights - magic !
