Nicholas, make sure that you aren't resetting your MPG "clear" every time in hopes that it will increase your mpg. I have noticed that mine isn't accurate at all until I have driven a full tank or so. Just leave it alone for a while and your SID should begin to indicate something more believable. If you are still in doubt use the simple math way... fill up your tank(note how many gallons it took, and reset your "trip") drive it until it's empty again, and refill(note the miles you drove and how many gallons it took). 300 miles and 15 gallons to fill means 20 mpg's, etc. That should tell you exactly how many MPG's you are getting out of your Saab.
