You will be jacking up the vehicle at the same renforced point where the tire change jack goes.
Floor trolly jacks are the best. Ramps can be dangerous on smooth pavement like top coated garage floors and are good for changing oil but little else.
Capacity is not an issue as almost anything in the market place will do.
There are plenty of cheap trolly jacks with tiny lifting cups. I do not like these as they could damage the body work. I have two 3 ton trolly jacks from Sears which have large lifting pads. I place a piece of 2X4 on this that is short enough to allow a four corners to fit in the lifting cup. The wood block deforms and gets chewed up, but in the process places an even load on the lift point.
These 3 ton trolly jacks would look great under the tree!
There are other makes of these which will do nicely. If they are on sale, even better. Don't fall for the Sears jack bundled with axle stands. These, like most axle stands in the market these days have cast steel jaws of death that are only suitable for some truck axles. I would not get these near a sheet metal bodywork!
As for oil changes.... if you use a 12 point socket on the drain bolt, it will likley strip the bolts hex head and you will be in deep doodoo. You must have a 6 point socket for this.
Don't try to drain oil in the open if there is any wind.
