I have a 1995 900 SE Turbo Convertible. I have a two and half year old son. HE likes riding in the convertible over my 1986 9000 Turbo. At first he did not like the top down in the summer. But now he loves it. I have not had this car very long so his car seat has always fast forward. IT is very easy to get him in and out of the car. When the top is down is the best. I find it is easy to let him get in his seat by himself sometimes when the top is down. If he is sleeping or doesn’t want to cooperate for some reason its also not that bad. Two tricks I have learned. Lover the rear window if the weather is nice, otherwise when the door is open with the car running or not you can just slide the electric seat forward. I am about six feet tall so if I can do this comfortable anyone can. I can also fit myself in the back seat behind the passenger seat when installing the car seat. This is a little tight but not uncomfortable. I originally planed on never putting a car seat in this car because I thought it was going to be a pain. But I quickly fell in love with the car and tried putting the car seat in and I learned it was not that big of a deal and well worth it. I have vowed to always own a convertible.
