Did you put in NGK BCPR6ES11's gapped to .039".
The injectors need to be clean or hard starting results. I suggest Techron Concentrate. Pause at ignition om to allow the fuel pressure to get up.
The fuel filters are good for 100000 miles most often.
If the fuel pump is getting weak it would probably show up as lean at speed which should cause a CEL.
Look for damaged hoses or pressurized turbo clamped joints that have poppped off. That does happen. Was the power loss sudden?
if these joints seem sound, then remove the hose from the BPV valve that goes from the wastegate actuator to the valve. Now drive and see what boost you can develop. There should be lots of boost and it should come on very fast. So be gentle with the throttle. If there is boost, the turbo itself is working well and the ducts are good and the ECU knows what to do with the boost. Now put the hose back.
If you get up into around 40% of the read on the boost indicator, then you are getting close to the over pressure fuel cut. If you trigger a fuel cut there will be a momentary sudden loss of power that is quite harmless. If you hit it in the lower gears it can feel quite violent. The BPC valve could be bad. Not very cheap to replace. But you could get a $35 manual boost controller which will provide a nice increase in power and save some money. But read up on MBC's first. Search for MBC.
If you don't get boost, then there is a blown duct hose or joint or the wastegate is bad. The turbo chargers them selves are quite trouble free.
