i recently had a problem with my BPC valve (located on front valence near to headlight) which was buzzing over 2000 revs once the Turbo kicked in.

On the advice of others on this BB, I changed the BPC valve, (actually I managed to get a second hand one from Neo Bros in the UK)

The new valve does not buzz, and sanity is restored.

Here's the thing........ My boost gauge no longer goes into the red zone. It used to go 1/4 into the red on full throttle and then reduce back to max amber on WOT.

Now it just goes to 7/8ths of the way through the amber section. There is just a sliver of the amber section still showing from where I am sitting.

Cant get it to go into the red zone at all.

i have just changed my air filter, plugs and oil change to see if I could coax the ECU into giving a full bill of health back to the system, but to no avail.

Am I getting a reduced boost, or is the car actually performing correctly, and the old BPC valve was at fault.

The car seems just as fast, but its hard to be that sure.

Any comments greatly appreciated
