These are EBC brake pads. They will produce much less brake dust. They will not grip well until they wear in a bit. I suggest some deliberate brake runs to do this so that you are stopping under conditions that you control. After doing this the braking effort will improve a lot. After a few days the braking will become very strong then taper off a bit as the pads season. The end result will be brakes that are much better than stock. But they are a bit scarey until they bed in.
This early weak braking may be worse on new rotors, as the rotors have to get condtioned too. I hope that the rotors had their preservative oil thoroughly removed.
I have the same front brake pads and as you can tell, I know how they are. I would not consider using anything else.
So go out and do some runs to get then heated up and you will feel them getting better.
So you have a good product, just go run them in.
