Thanks again for the infor. I figured I could deduce its installation process from the part, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I did not want to remove the entire bracket holding the piece up, three bolts, but one has little clearance. There is another post on this site referencing an online parts site: http://www.thesaabsite.com/Default.htm which has other good infor. as well, and I'm still exploring others. I ordered the brake switch, a new antenna (am i the only one who has replaced it at least three times?), and parts to replace the valve cover gasket. All for under $100 incl. shipping.
This Saturday should be fun -- play with my new toy (the old car, with 94K on the odometer --I'm going to try to fix it up / restore it myself as much as possible) then go to the motorcycle show and out to dinner, a weekend of grease and motors!
What about that little yellow plastic 'thang thet I broke off of the connection to the brake switch, am I hosed on that as well? That wasn't for sale on that particular web.
The wife doesn't seem to mind having no brake lights, I think she sees it as a challenge.
