Hirsch only took my turbo to 13 psi and I still get 238 hp with all the other standard mods. Anywhere past that brought EGT to over 920 degrees Celsius which is about the highest you would want to run in a daily driver. The heat becomes a problem for power output and will definitely decrease the life of the turbo itself. The higher pressures give larger torque numbers down low which Hirsch intentionally tunes out so I can put it to the floor in second and get no wheelspin. I believe this is probably much easier on the tranny.
