I have a 95 900s (non-turbo) convertible (UK spec). I had all sorts of handling probems with it running wide, imprecise and even the tail breaking away. At 60k miles I swapped for Koni adjustables, lowered the suspension by 15mm using special springs and fitted 215/45 17" Saab qualifier wheels and Bridgestone So2 tyres.

This has transformed the handling. I have the koni's on teh softest settings and its is still firm. I occasionally harden them but its not necessary for everyday driving. It does stop all the body roll and makes the car handle safely and firmky (bear in mind the convertible skuttleshake as well).

You can get all the specs of the kit from UK saab dealers. They say the Saab "performance handling) kit is not highly rated. I got all mine from saab delers but the besy source is the saab racing dealers Abbot racing in the UK. If you are in the US you will need to check their equivalent or order them from the UK. http://www.abbotracing.com. I have no connection with them.

Overall you will dramatically improve the handling, but it will be on the firm side. The 17" wheels means that you will staft to follow the tramlines as the types wear though they are great at the start.
