Of the things you two mention, the one that resonates for me is the idea that the mix is too rich, and if the O2 sensors are controling that and they have 99,000 miles on them, my guess is that they are the culprits. I did not think they would cause a problem without the computer telling me so, but again, I think the mix is rich, and the techron would keep the injectors clean firing.
Def no prob with the timing / belt / etc. There is MTBE year round, so no influence there. I ranted about the MTBE a couple months ago thinking it was my prob, then someone told me I had it yr round.
I'll check the tires, but they look overinflated, so I doubt that's the prob. I have tried oil flushes and stuff, though I have not switched to Mob1. Personal opinion is to use dino / change 3000 / flush on third change. I used Mob1 on my turbo cars.
I will now go shopping for a cheap O2 sensor. had good luck before using SAABSITE. cheers,
