The point of drip is the bottom of the bell housing, which has a drain dimple to allow any trany input shaft or real engine seal leak to get out.
The 1995 turbos, and others are quite prone to the engine rear seal leaking badly after 90-110K.
Mine got very bad, some seal swell leak addative helped for about a year. It got very bad and gross amounts of oil started comming out with the blow by pressure on MBC speed and tuning runs. After that it remaid bad. I switched from Castrol Syntec, which I had used for years, to Mobil One 10W30 and the leaking became moderated and manageble. But I had the rear seal replaced and the cluch removed while things were out. Also put in a new cable and had the treny re-sealed and switched to Saab synthetic gear lube. This tool place at around 110K miles.
My trany was not leaking at the time, but many had reported seal problems in the past.
