I have a '94 with 64000 miles it was recomended that I change the manual transmission oil to the Saab synthetic oil. Not to big of a deal if you have jack stands and a 8mm allen wrench. (I live were I don't have much winter) the plugs were not to bad to take off. It takes 3 liters of fluid to do the job ($14.00 a liter) 1 to rinse out the old oil and almost 2 to refill. I have noticed a big difference in the shifting and I couldn't believe the crap that come out of the trany. Crap is an industry term. Just thought someone might want to know that Saab wants this to be done to all the 900's of this age.
