Depends where you live, how you drive, and if any aftermarket accessories/modifications.
BCPR7ES was the original SAAB recommendation in the USA market. If you lived in cold climates, and only drove 2 miles to work, in 0 degree temps, the chances are they would foul.
The SAME plugs (7's) in Arizona, pulling a trailer through the mountains, would be PERFECT. Get the idea??
Anyway, NGK BCPR6 ES plugs, gapped to 0.039" and torqued to 20 ft. lbs. will work for most "Average" SAAB owners.
From 1999--- Saab equipped certain rides (Viggens and HOTs) with NGK
platinum plugs. Some owners of these rides had performance problems--which were fixed by switching yo BCPR6 ES copper plugs.
