I didn't realize so many people were having trouble with Abbott America, you have some good points. I've purchased quite a bit of stuff (= ton of $$) direct from Abbott Racing, starting before there was AA but also when AA was in business. The only problem I have with dealing with AR direct is that there is one contact (Giles)who has been described to me as the "perfect" salesman and from my experience that's an accurate description, he's not very strong on the tech. issues and he always tells you what you want to hear and he sure is friendly. I've talked to Dave at AA and have asked him to get me info on AR products and I'll agree he's less then responsive. My point was that if AR is going to have a US distributor they should stop selling direct and should support the distributor,and also the Saab community can help ensure that we have a US distributor by trying to support him, but it appears that AR might have to make a better choice of who that person is going to be. The problem appears to be that it's awful hard to make a living selling Saab performance parts, and impossible if you're going to limit yourself to AR parts alone.
