A little tire help for the extremely confused, please!!!

I have a 1997 900 coupe (no turbo), need new tires and am very confused after trying to research tires and sizes. My current tires are 195/60-15. I want an all-season tire with good handling, etc. and am looking at the Bridgestone Potenza RE950 or the Dunlop SP Sport A2. My question is this: Can I get an alternative tire size (like 205/55-15 or 205/60-15) without harming the car, or having to change anything else on my car besides the tires themselves(as I do not want extra costs or challenges here!). Do these sizes offer any advantages or disadvantages over the 195/60-15???
Any help is greatly appreciated.
