engines I have done B/C sprockets on, I haven't seen wear like that in the cylinders.
Actually, it would be an easy call for me to make, since I'm dealing with customer cars, I wouldn't dare to put that together and promise any lenght of time warranty, (we always have 1 year warranty on our work) because this engine could give us problems down the road with oil consumption and bad performance.
You have only two options. Slap the engine together and don't worry. Or take the pistons out and hone the block together with new piston rings or complete pistons.
