bulb for the rear fog only the left one should be used! If there were 2 'bright' lights shining back at other drivers the illusion is that you are driving with your foot on the brake and the warning following drivers would get with your 'real' brake application would be reduced possibly to someone's detriment! Even though Saab, Audi and Lexus, to name a few, have a rear fog light, I believe they are prohibited in some juristictions for just the reason stated. Once again the european designers are ahead of the North American law makers (you may remember that sealed beam headlights used to be in NA).
