So I'm headed down to Pep Boys to buy me up some goodies, as I am basically starting with nothing.

As a safety measure, I want to have an extra serpentine belt and some hoses in back, since I take lots of road trips, in case something breaks, yadda yadda yadda.

- Which brand of serpentine belt? Does it matter? Or should I order online and buy a genuine Saab belt?

- What diameter for the lower and upper radiator hose? What diameter heating hose? I was recommended to buy a few feet of it just in case.

- Where can I find lube for my door hinges, sunroof, etc? What brand? REM recommended Loctite Superlube - will that be available at a store like this?

- Bosch Excel wipers? Are they easy to put on? Just want to have some in case I get stuck in a rainstorm and mine break - they're starting to smear, I think.

- This may sound dumb, but what tools, if any, do I need to open the engine cover?

- What tools do I need to change the spark plugs? The tools in my spare tire are in pretty dismal shape... don't think anyone used 'em

- And finally, what is everyone's opinion about putting a good bottle jack in my car instead of the emergency jack, and also using it with jack stands for when I change the oil?
