Same thing, found problem

George,
Last year I had the same exact problem except it was only happening when my wife had the car (coincidence).
The car would just die at stop lights and did leave her standed twice. The battery was brand new and the terminals were clean. Finally she refused to drive the car and I took it for two weeks. It finally died on me and I was forced to diagnose the problem at a stop light (in front of many unpleasent motorists).
Next time it happens, wiggle the positive battery terminal. I found that although the terminal looked brand new it had internal corrosion and was making interminant contact. I confirmed this with my local Saab mechanic who has replaced more than a dozen with the same problem. If you find that this is the problem you can buy the Saab replacement, or save the money and buy a universal from your local part store for under $2.00. I would also check the cable where is connects to the solonoid and also the negative/ground cable at the same time. Make sure you coat these with battery terminal "goop" to prevent corrosion.
I wanted to be totally sure I had fixed the problem, so I carefully cut the old terminal in half and it was full of white powder (corrosion). My wife put her faith back in the car after I showed her the cause.
Hope this helps.
