Front wheel squirm

Hello Folks,
The front wheels on my cars seems to squirm on small bumps and road imperfections. This behaviour started at around 110K miles. A few weeks ago I got rid of the OEM shock absorbers and replaced with Koni Sports. I love the ride with the Koni shocks!:) But this has made the "wheel squirm" more pronounced. Also at highway speeds the car does not change direction for steering inputs upto 10-15 degrees. In other words a lot of free play in the steering wheel when driving the car. Its almost like holding the tail of a snake!
Is this something to do with worn out bushes on the steering setup or in the control arm? I want to enjoy the ride in my saab but this "wheel squirm" is making for unpleasant handling..
Appreciate your inputs!
