You have a drain problem, or a cracked AC air box.
The drain has a rubber horn. It is on the firewall, below the steering rack so that you can't see it. From under the vehicle, it is just above the cat converter. The rubber bit can be pulled off, cleaned/inspected and put back. There is another larger drain horn for the cowelling where the wiper machanism is. You can reach it behind the throttle body and remove it. These things get full of trash. Look to see of there is a pile of stuff on inside of the cowel, through that hole.
Lots of the air boxes of that vintage cracked. Why I don't know. Never seen one close up, would like to keep it that way. Repair VS fix?? depends. This is major work. I am wondering if the cracking has to do with the evap frosting up and/or water in the box freezing in the winter. If I was going to fix one I am inclined to think that I would use fiberglass. Note that it needs to be tight on the inside, or freezing in cracks would continue. So simple patching on the exterior only might be a waste of time and might make matters worse. I don't know if any of this could be related to the defective anti frost switches.
