MBC installed.. but ?'s (long)

This weekend I finally got the chance to install the MBC I got from Dawes. After a little adjusting the boost now goes about a 1/3 into the red at full. I also noticed that at idle it stays just under the yellow part (still in the white, but about a needles's width away from the yellow)... is this normal?

One thing I don't understand is about the BPV. It's now out of the formula? I have the turbo hose going to the MBC and the other end (the hose that came with the MBC) going to the Wastegate. I have read about how some people put the BPV inline with the MBC... but I don't see how this woudl be advantageous. Would the MBC even work in this case or would the pressue just be released from the BPV even before it got to the MBC?

Any help would be awesome.

Also- I have an automatic. Is there any issues that I need to be aware of? Will this wear out the turbo prematurely?

Mods:
Silencer removed
MBC installed
K&N filter
Larger Air intake (although needs to be redone)

Next up:
SAS sway bar
Sport Exhaust
