mmmmmmyeeeeeaah. I guess. I had the 65k service done to the car, and thought that they changed the plugs, etc. at that service. Could be wrong though about that. I haven't changed them myself, or, for that matter, even looked at them.
I have read about the DI problems and it seems that a lot of the troubles begin about 100k. I have a little over 70k... so I suppose that there is a chance that this can be a sign.
The performance of the car is great. It really is. I haven't noticed a higher heat than before. I have an automatic, so have to 'drive' with the acelerator a bit more than if I were driving a standard. It's still fun though! The mechanic hadn't seen a Dawes or any device on the car... and was a bit skeptical as if it would fool the computer since the BPV is only connected to the Intake Manifold now.
Yes, I think that an exhaust system would be best though to make sure heat stays down. Any suggestions? I know there are a zillion posts about them. Thanks for the help.
