have 95 900se and 2002 9-3 se. the 95 has 90,000 miles. other car is at first oil change. i want to use an oil that is universally available anywhere in the US, not something i have to mail order.

i have been using mobil 1 10-30 in the 95 and changing every 10,000, also using mobil 1 filter or fram X2 if i cannot find the mobil filter. this oil is supposed to be for "high mileage" engines. my 95 leaks oil like an old harley. am i using the right oil/filters at the right intervals for this car?

should i use the lower viscosity, like say, 5-30 mobil 1 for my new car? dealer says they use havoline dino oil for all saabs they service. i have always changed my own to give me opportunity to check other things out on car.
