I would not change out the ABA Swedish hose clamps for a sharp edged stainless steel clamp.

Sometimes though, the clamp screw freezes up and you need to replace it.

Before I start with this kind of work I always squirt a little bit of oil on the clamp and screw, that helps a lot.

You can never tighten the hose clamps to it's full extend right away, but kind of have to leave them firm but not rubbercrushing tight. After awhile when the different heat/cold cycles have done their work, you might need to after tighten some of the clamps to stop coolant seepage.

I have never had to bleed the coolant system on any of the cars I worked with, but it's a hot topic among several people/beleivers.

If you fill up the system and run the car hot, ( until fan comes on) and than top it of again, you are most likely fine with that.

One exception is the NG900 with the V6 engine, that one you need to drive around the block once, and rev the engine before the last air bubble is released. It's not a big thing since you need to drive the car around the block anyway after a service like that.
