I came into work today and there were 8 new SAABS lined up outside my building, all available for test driving. They give you a nice SAAB pen when you are done as well. If you are in southern NY, bring your driver's license to: One Blue Hill Plaza, Pearl River, NY 10965.
Oh my God, the 9-5 aero is a nice car. The 250 horses are actually enough. The car had a 5 speed manual which really let's you harness the power, what a ripper. The clutch was butter. The fan in the seat was a nice touch too. Modify it to 300 hp and what more could you ask for?
The 9-3 se convert auto with 205 hp was a dogg! I was very surprised, could have been the auto tranny. I was not impressed. Overall the car was the same as my 95 900 SE, but the top came down. My slightly modified manual shift 900 would beat the stock 9-3 SE auto hands down. The 9-3 had 17 inch wheels, but handling was NO different than my 900.
Overall, I thought I wanted a convert but now I know I really want an aero! They didn't have a Viggen, now that could change everything.
