from my experience, once the VC's go, you will have chronic problems with them. I replaced mine a few years back, then early this year had to redo the front and back, now the front needs re-doing again. The one's this year I did myself, I think I posted a procedure to do the back ones at least. Otherwise its going to cost a little bit. Change car is not the solution, it's not a major league problem. So long as the oil is not leaking onto plug wires, alternator, belts, etc. Is it a big leak or just a few drops a day?
My oil pan gasket is leaking also. I'm not too worried about that, its not leaking onto anything. I'll probably DIY that next spring.
