I just told the service manager to order new strut mounts so I'll finally get rid of this clunk, clunk, clunk as I drive down the road. This weekend I'm going to clean and hopefully free up the RR caliper (what is it about these cars that leads to frozen calipers?) and work on re-attaching the rear bumper cover that I gouged up last week. Another weekend might see me replacing front rotors unless I get rid of the car before then. I'm getting married in April, so all sorts of money is flying out of my pocket, but my fiancee is very understanding of my desire to get rid of this thing. No time for test driving right now though.
Speaking of Hondas...the new Accord may be the Saab of the future! Think about it, the styling is definitely on the "odd" or "quirky" side of mainstream, while the new 9-3SS is nothing but mainstream. The 4 cyl puts out 160 hp and with the 5 spd., scoots the car to 60 in about 7.5 seconds. The 9-3ss is expensively turbocharged and gets to 60 in the same time frame. No hatch on either car. Just random thoughts.
Thanks for the encouragement, I'm not sure how close to the edge I am right now. I can't see myself owning an Accord, but every one I've sat in or driven is tighter than my SET and my friends don't spend their weekends trying to fix 'em.
